QUICKSTART / SUBSCRIPTION IMPORT

How to Use a VPN Subscription

Follow the sequence: create an account, place an order, get your subscription, import it into a client, and verify the connection. Handle only the settings needed at each stage; learn about protocols and route mechanics after the connection works.

PREPARE

Confirm the basics before you start

This page covers only the steps needed for your first connection. Before you begin, prepare a username and password you can store securely, and make sure the current device can open the QPVPN user panel. No email address is required for registration; after creating an account, you can access the Plans, Account Overview, and client download sections. Keep the user panel signed in throughout setup so you do not have to look for the entry point again when moving from checkout to the subscription area.

First, clarify what you need to use the service for. If you mainly access a service available in a specific region, prioritize that region when choosing a route instead of relying only on the route name. QPVPN covers 90+ countries and 200+ routes, so there is no need to compare every option on your first connection. Start with a route whose location is clear and matches the target region, confirm that the process works, and then adjust based on sustained loading performance.

Import paths differ slightly across Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS, but they all use subscription details from the same account. Do not treat the example address as a real subscription, and never show your subscription in public pages, chat logs, or screenshots. The https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN shown here only illustrates the link format and cannot establish a connection.

CREATE

Create a Username and Password

After opening the user panel registration page, enter the username you prepared, set a password, and submit the form as instructed. QPVPN does not require an email address for registration, so there is no email confirmation to wait for. After a successful submission, the page will open your account area. If it remains on the registration screen, check whether the username is already taken and whether both password entries match, then submit again.

After entering the panel, confirm that you can see sections such as Account Overview, Plans, and Clients. This check matters because checkout, subscription retrieval, and client downloads all take place in the same panel. Do not look for public download links at this stage or copy unknown configurations from other pages; marketing pages only provide entry points, while the actual deliverables are determined by the signed-in account status.

Your username and password are the credentials used to return to the panel and manage your subscription. Use a distinct combination that is easy to distinguish from other credentials. If you are configuring multiple devices, complete the full process on one device first, confirm that the subscription works, and then sign in to the same account on other devices to get the appropriate clients. QPVPN supports unlimited simultaneous devices, so you do not need a separate account for each device.

First Month Free Continue to plans after creating your account
SELECT

Choose a Plan Based on Your Data Usage

After creating your account, open the Plans section. The page lists monthly subscriptions and data packages, which use different billing models. Monthly subscriptions reset data each month on the activation date and suit ongoing use. Data packages remain available until used and never expire, making them suitable for irregular usage or keeping unused data. Consider your usage pattern first, then compare the specific capacities rather than deciding solely by the one-time price.

Monthly subscriptions include ¥9.9/month with 60GB, ¥18/month with 250GB, and ¥28/month with 500GB. If the selected capacity later proves insufficient, check the upgrade options in the panel; for a mid-cycle upgrade, the difference is prorated by the remaining days. Data packages include ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. Usage is deducted as consumed, with no monthly reset.

After choosing a plan, select its Start Using entry to open the order confirmation page. Confirm that the plan name, data type, and amount match your expectations, then choose from the payment methods shown on the page: Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. After payment, return to the account area and wait for the order status to update. Do not repeatedly create identical orders before the order takes effect. If the status does not change, refresh Account Overview first, then check your order history.

Use Account Overview to determine whether the plan is active. Proceed to retrieve your subscription only after you can see the subscription status and data information. If you are only comparing prices, read the complete plan details and comparison first, then place an order after confirming the difference between monthly subscriptions and data packages. Refund rules for the first payment are governed by the refund policy; marketing pages consistently state a 30-day no-questions-asked refund.

Choose a Plan Go to Account Overview after the order is active
OBTAIN

Get Your Subscription from Account Overview

After the order takes effect, open Account Overview and find the subscription or connection information section. It usually includes options to copy the subscription, import it into a client, and view usage status. If the page still shows only plan selection, refresh the account status and confirm that the order is complete. Subscription delivery depends on an active plan; marketing pages do not display a ready-to-use subscription address.

Choose the import method for the platform you plan to use. If the client and panel support direct handoff, select the platform import entry and the system will try to pass the subscription to the installed client. If it does not open automatically, use Copy Subscription, then choose Import from Link inside the client. Do not modify any characters in the link or add spaces before or after it.

The subscription link lets the client read the route list available to your account. It may look like an ordinary web address, but it contains account-specific information and should be protected like a login credential. In the example https://example.com/sub?token=YOUR_TOKEN, the domain and token are fictional values used only to demonstrate how to copy the entire link.

If you plan to configure multiple devices, there is no need to copy individual route parameters manually. Sign in to the user panel on each device, open Account Overview or the client download section, and import the subscription using the same process. This lets the client read the complete route list and makes later subscription refreshes clearer. Protocol differences, route topology, and resource usage are not required for a first connection; after completing this page, you can read the technical reference for routes and protocols.

PLATFORMS

Import the Client for Your Platform

Clients are obtained only from the signed-in user panel. This page does not provide direct installation links; open the client download section in the panel, choose the QPVPN client for your current system, then return to Account Overview to get your subscription.

WIN

Windows

In the user panel’s client download section, select Windows and follow the page instructions to get the QPVPN client for desktop. After installing and opening it, look for an entry such as “Add Subscription” or “Import from Link” in the main interface or subscription management area. Paste the complete subscription copied from Account Overview, confirm, and wait for the route list to appear.

After the routes load, do not change several settings at once. Keep the default connection mode, choose a route whose region matches the target service, and return to the client’s main screen to connect. If nothing changes after pasting, check for spaces before or after the link and use Refresh Subscription to read it again.

MAC

macOS

Choose the macOS client in the user panel and follow the panel instructions to obtain and open it. On first launch, the system may ask for permission to configure the network. This permission is used to establish a local connection; after confirming that the app came from the QPVPN panel, follow the system prompts. In the client, open subscription management and choose to add a configuration by link.

After pasting and saving the subscription, wait for the client to finish parsing it. Seeing region or route names indicates that import is complete. Select the required egress region from the list and connect. If the client icon appears in the system menu area, the connection status is usually shown there as well. When switching routes, disconnect first and then select the new route for a clearer transition.

AND

Android

Sign in to the user panel on your Android device, open the client download section, and select the relevant platform. After getting the QPVPN client, open its subscription page and look for an add entry in the upper-right corner, subscription management, or Import from Link. Paste the complete subscription from Account Overview, save it, then pull to refresh or select Update so the client loads the route list.

When establishing the first connection, the system will display a network connection authorization prompt. Confirm that the QPVPN configuration you just imported is selected, then continue through the system interface. Return to the client, choose a region, and connect. If the system pauses the background connection to save power, first confirm that the basic process works, then adjust the client’s background permissions in system settings.

IOS

iOS

Select iOS in the user panel’s client download section and obtain the corresponding client using the method provided on the page. Open the client, go to the subscription, configuration, or Import from Link section, then paste and save the subscription copied from Account Overview. If the panel provides a direct import entry, you can also open the client first, return to the panel, and select that entry to hand it off.

On the first connection, the system will ask to add a network configuration. Confirm the app and configuration source, follow the system prompts, and then return to the client to choose a route. Successful import is determined not by whether the button wording matches this guide, but by whether the client displays selectable regions and routes. If the list is empty, refresh the subscription first, then check the plan status.

CONNECT

Connect and Verify That It Works

After a successful import, choose the target region from the route list. Start with the purpose: when accessing a service for a specific region, the egress region should match that service’s requirements. For general cross-border access, start with a geographically closer route. Select a route, click Connect, wait for the client status to change from Not Connected to Connected, and then open the target page.

Do not open many applications at once during verification. First visit a target page that normally requires an international route and confirm that it loads, then test practical functions such as sign-in, images, or video. If the homepage opens but later content does not load completely, the route region may not match the target service’s regional rules. Switch to another route in the same region instead of reinstalling the client.

Also check that the route currently selected in the client matches your expectation. Some clients restore a default route after refreshing the subscription, so check the region name after every update. If the target service is region-sensitive, close existing pages before connecting and reopen them afterward to avoid carrying over a pre-connection session.

After basic verification, test your commonly used apps and observe loading over a continuous period. An occasional page failure does not necessarily indicate an import error. Import errors usually appear as an empty route list, a failed subscription update, or no selectable configuration in the client. If routes are visible and a connection can be established, investigate route region, target service status, and local network changes first.

CHECK A The Client Shows Connected

The status is clear, and the current route name matches expectations.

CHECK B The Target Page Loads

Reopen the page to avoid reusing a pre-connection session.

CHECK C The Region Matches the Use Case

For region-sensitive services, prioritize the corresponding egress region.

RECOVERY

Troubleshoot Connection Issues in Order

When something goes wrong, change only one variable at a time so you can identify which step restored the connection. First confirm that the plan in Account Overview is still active, then return to the client and refresh the subscription. If the route list returns, select the region again and connect. If the subscription update fails, copy the complete link from Account Overview again, delete the old subscription with the same name in the client, and import it again.

If the route list is normal but the target page will not open, disconnect, choose another route in the same region, reconnect, and reopen the page. If the problem persists, switch local networks and test again to distinguish local access issues from remote route issues. Do not change the protocol, connection mode, system network settings, and client version in the same troubleshooting round; otherwise, even a recovery will not reveal the cause.

If the client reports an invalid configuration, check first that the copied content is complete. A subscription must be one continuous link; do not copy only part of it or use the example address from this guide. If the direct import entry does not open the client, use Copy Subscription and look for Import from Link inside the client. Entry locations vary by version, but the functional flow remains the same.

If you still cannot connect after these basic checks, submit a ticket through the user panel and include the platform, target region, error text shown by the client, and the steps you have already tried. Focus on the symptoms and do not attach the full subscription link or password. For advanced topics such as protocol handshakes, direct versus relayed connections, and identifying peak-hour congestion, read the Routes and Protocols page instead of adding unnecessary parameter changes during initial setup.

SETUP COMPLETE

Adjust Parameters After the Basic Connection Works

If routes load, a connection can be established, and the target service opens, the basic setup is complete. You can then compare regions, route topology, and protocol trade-offs for your use case; there is no need to optimize everything during the first import.
